I directed made the model sheets, storyboards and layouts of the demo animation short from 'Karmatrón y los Transformables', with ¡Ka-Boom! Estudio and Ramm Productions (1997). This short was made in a couple of weeks because it would serve as a demo to convince Televisa's executives to accept the series; we knew in advance, that due to the short time we
wouldn't show such a good quality, this was just a demo to show some movement and a defined style. Televisa demanded that the
demo should be projected in a public place with a large audience; so we chose 'MeCyF 97' (a Mexican comic book convention), that would be held exactly 3 weeks after Televisa's request and that was our only chance (that gave us the deadline I mentioned before). When it was projected to 3000 persons in Mexico City's WTC an spite of only having a couple of minutes, people got excited and congratulated us. I have all this recorded on video... It was very exciting!

Este corto se hizo en dos semanas ya que serviría para tratar de convencer

En el demo participaron todos los K! de aquella época y fue muy estresante pero divertido.
